We are getting ready to go HOME!!! August 21, 2006

Hey everyone,
We are sitting in Santorini right now waiting for a van to take us down to the port so we can catch our 8 hour ferry ride back to Athens. Well I dont know about any of you, but we all think riding the ferry for 8 hours is about the most fun thing you can do...not!!! We were on it for 8 hours the day before yesterday and now we get to repeat it again!!! Then we head to Athens airport (arrive at about midnight our time) Kristina and I's flight leaves around 5:20 am to London (so we have 5 hours to sit and wait) and Jennifers to Milan about an hour later. Kristina and I have the day in London (after a night of no sleep, yay!) and Jennifer flies from Athens-Milan-Amsterdam-Minneapolis-Seattle, she is gonna have fun on four flights!!! We fly (after our day in London) from London to Houston then Seattle. HOME!! We are so excited.
Santorini was pretty cool, the pictures make it look a lot better/prettier then it is in actuality. Though, it is very, very hot here, though Mike tells us you all have been having 90 degree weather as well! We saw the white villages with blue roofs and watched a sunset, famously known, from Oia. We spent the day at the beach and pool and later in the towns of Fira and Oia. Kristina and I bought some more crap that we HAD to have.
Kristina and I get to wear the same clothes for almost 4 days, we will be quite the sight to behold as we walk off that plane, something to look forward to Jenny and Danny!!!
Tonight will be the first of 3 (2 for Jennifer) nights with no beds for us, also meaning no showers, no home base, no nothing. We are, as you could assume, super excited for that. We are going to try and sleep in the airport our last night here in Europe (one night on the plane as well) as we are getting to the airport about 12 hours prior to our plane leaving in case security is a nightmere.
Well, there is not much more to add, this is the last time you will hear from us (for sure this time) until we get back HOME!! When I get back I will be uploading all of our pictures onto shutterfly so you all can get caught up on our fun, scary, crazy and amazing time in Europe!
